Bismillaahi ar-Rahmaan ar-Raheem, as-Salaatu was-Salaam ‘ala Rasulullaah

Allaah aza wa jal says:

And they say, “None will enter Paradise except one who is a Jew or a Christian.” That is their wishful thinking, Say, “Produce your proof, if you are truthful.”

Allaah aza wa jal links proof with being truthful.

This should be applied in all spheres of Islaamic knowledge.  It is obligatory to produce the proof when speaking about Islaam.  Where is the Wahee?

Whenever someone one speaks about Islaam, it must be based upon Qur’aan and Sunnah.  Where is the Speech of Allaah aza wa jal?  Where is the speech of Rasoolullaah (s)?

Whether it is a Sahaabi’s narration or a view of a scholar, everything must be verified with the Qur’aan and Sunnah to see if they were correct.

Allaah aza wa jal promises to protect the Dhikr, which is what He aza wa jal sent down.   The  narrations of Sahaabah or scholars are not revelation from Allaah aza wa jal and they are not protected.
